Locations
The Exam Schedule lists the locations where DEP conducts operator qualification exams. Exam pages for each exam are available for additional guidelines, conditions and guidelines and exam information. If you need special accommodations due to chronic illness, hearing or visual impairment or other limitations make contact with the exam provider and provide detailed information when you register.
The Faculty Dashboard in Workday includes the option of "View My Teaching Schedule", which allows faculty to find their exam schedules. Final exams for evening classes are scheduled during the regular class time of the final exam weeks.

Registration
Students are advised to check the exam schedule online. It is important to keep in mind that the final schedule of exams can change at any time. For this reason, students should check with their instructors to confirm that they have the correct date and time for their exam. Students should also print out the official list to bring with them to the exam.
In addition to the exam schedule, students should also familiarize themselves with the exam guidelines, conditions and terms. These are available on the exam's individual page. Students acknowledge they have read and agree to the terms and conditions of registration.
Exam sites try their best to accommodate students with special requirements. The nature and severity of these requirements should be noted on the registration and confirmed by a medical attestation. Additionally the locations for the exam must be kept confidential.
If a student is scheduled to take three exams on the same day, they should contact their instructor or department in order to schedule a make-up test. It is possible to take three exams on the same day. However, this could cause a lot of stress and affect the quality of the exam. The professor might not be able to give a makeup test on another day.
Students should review their course material before taking the exam and must practice their German skills. The exam is a paper test that measures your ability to read and write, as well as speak German. The results of the exam are reported on a scale of A1 to C2. Students who pass the test are awarded an Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate certifies the that they have achieved the level of A1 in their language. This level is the initial stage of the six-level scale of competence that is set out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The exam is free. Students must bring a valid government-issued ID to the test. Those without a valid photo ID will be disqualified.
Fees
If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to receive a Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (start German 1), you must pay the exam fee. This fee is in addition the course fee.
Practice tests let you get familiar with the format of the test, the language, and the difficulty of the questions on the test. They help you evaluate your level, discover gaps in your knowledge and increase your chances of passing the test.

Please note that the examination fee isn't refundable. Exam results can only by sent via email and not by phone.
